LANDSCAPE ART

Inspired by my travels

Every landscape tells a story, I paint these stories.

My Painting Journey

ONE LANDSCAPE AT A TIME

Whether it's the way mountains change shape under a heavy cloak of cloud, or the peaceful whispering of the trees in the forest, landscape art is a sensory experience. Painting the landscape allows me to capture the spirit of place, from the light to the chroma, the smells, sounds and often the stories of idyll, of torment, of natural change that many of the great landscapes hold.

Through my art I hope to connect to all the tree lovers, wanderers, artists, lost souls and young adventurers seeking solace in the wild places.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

I paint stories about travel and nature

I'm Chloe, born in England and living on the island of Malta in the central Mediterranean. I'm self-taught, constantly seeking out nature in my daily life as well as when I travel. I have a young son called Alfie.

Inspired by great British painters from Turner to Constable to Kyffin Williams, the Impressionists, Caspar David Freidrich, Franz Marc and more, I'm drawn to nature, and my sketchbook accompanies me on my travels. I seek out nature wherever and whenever I can, painting landscapes and their stories.
