Landscape Painting Ideas & Creative Insights
Welcome to my art blog, where you can enjoy a behind the scenes look at the experiences, processes and beautiful places that inspire my work as well as guides and inspiration for artists.
Using acrylic, mixed media and more recently, exploring working with collage landscapes, I am inspired by the natural world, particularly drawn to woodlands and gardens.
For the last 15 years I've explored a range of styles and subjects, developing my work as a landscape artist, selling and exhibiting my work, attending art fairs and markets, and of course, painting outdoors or "en plein air" as often as I can.
I'm fascinated by how ideas and styles develop, and love documenting the process of discovery, from sketchbook to final product.
My aim with this blog is to share how I learn, succeed (and sometimes fail), whilst documenting each art collection in a holistic and immersive way.
